The James Bond movie franchise is one of the most successful and popular film properties in history, and with the opening of the latest film, Spectre, interest in the suave spy and the destinations he visits has surged once again. Bond is considered to be the height of style and sophistication, and as you would expect many of the locations are among the grandest and most attractive places in the world.

London, UK

The British capital is the home of MI6, where you can see the organization’s offices that were blown up in the last installment of the series, Skyfall, but have recovered sufficiently to appear once again in Spectre. There are several different areas of the city that are featured in the movie, and one of the most impressive is Admiralty Arch, while Trafalgar Square is another of the city’s locations to be featured in Spectre.

One of the other places where Spectre was filmed is on Vauxhall Bridge which lies in front of the MI6 building, and where one of the most impressive scenes in the new film appears. The Millennium Bridge is another of the great sites, and while walking across towards St Paul’s Cathedral, you can understand why Bond would wish to meet Moneypenny in this superb location.

Oujda And Erfoud, Morocco

In the far east of the country and less than ten miles from the Algerian border, the city of Oujda is typified by being a cross between the traditional and the modern, while the desert village of Erfoud is further south and is a small settlement built around an oasis. The scenery in Morocco is very distinctive and dramatic, and there is terrain around Erfoud that is believed to be so similar to Mars that some space craft have been tested there.
