The Route #ItalyOnaRickshaw

The Route #ItalyOnaRickshaw
Our bloggers are about to start an adventurous trip through Italy, riding a wonderful Rickshaw. They will cross more than 800km in 5 days, together with TheGira & Generali. They will discover a great country and they will be free to choose the itinerary, no constraints (except for the motorway).
They will live every minute to the max! But will they make it?
The adventure begins on the 7th of September, starting in Milan and finishing in Amalfi. Our bloggers will be surrounded by Italy’s unbelievable beauty and undiscovered roads, they will visit hidden villages, eat different food every day and taste all kind of wines…
Santagostino said that the most important thing is not the destination, but the path and we took him seriously!

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre

If you ever get tired of life, decamp immediately to the Cinque Terre. Here, five crazily constructed fishing villages set some of the most dramatic coastal scenery on the planet. Named after the five towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, this portion of the Italian Riviera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sinuous paths, impregnable cliffsides… thankfully cars were banned over a decade ago! Will our bloggers be safe on board a Rickshaw?

Florence

Florence

Florence’s museums, palaces and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world. The city’s urban fabric has hardly changed since the Renaissance and its narrow streets evoke a thousand tales whilst the food and wine are so wonderful the tag ‘Fiorentina’ has become an international label of quality. This riverside city looms large on the world’s ‘must-see’ list!

Rome

Rome

This timeless city is a real-life collage of piazzas, open-air markets and astonishing historic sites. Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, contemplate the Colosseum and the Pantheon, and sample a perfect espresso or gelato before spending an afternoon shopping at the Campo de’ Fiori or Via Veneto. Our bloggers will enjoy some of the most memorable meals of their life here!

Amalfi Coast

Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast offers one of the world’s great rides and the coastal trip will leave our bloggers gobsmacked! As they hyperventilate, notice how the Mediterranean, a sheer 500-foot drop below, twinkles. Cantilevered garages, hotels, and villas cling to the vertical terrain. Beautiful sandy coves tease from far below and out of reach. The real Amalfi thrill is the scenic drive!
